Where can I find the Digital Zine I bought?

There should have been a link after you checked out and an email sent to you with links! If you didn't receive or see these, please message me at hello@localkristine.com!! This function is currently carried out by Shopify's Digital Downloads app but if it isn't working I'll seek another solution. (-:

Can I print the Digital Zine PDF I purchased?

Yes! You may print the PDFs for personal use only. As the original folding templates are not included for zines, printing these may differ from the handmade, physical versions. These are not approved for resale.

What is sliding scale pricing?

Digital downloads in my shop are given several price options to allow customers the flexibility to pay from any of three price tiers. Purchases are never affected by how much you choose to pay. (-:

Shipping

Orders over $65 CAD are eligible for free shipping. Heralding my first collaboration with my sister, this number comes from combining our birthdates! Happy birthdays to us! (-:

What are my shipping options?

We ship through Canada Post using their Regular Parcel option. Right now, we are only shipping to Canada and the United States. We do not cover any shipping duties or fees that may occur.

We have an option to ship without tracking (Untracked) as a way to reduce costs for orders under 200 grams (including packaging). However, due to the risks of untracked mail, we cannot take any responsibility on the arrival time or fulfilled delivery of your order. By placing an order with untracked shipping you agree to take on that risk and know your order will not be replaced if anything goes wrong.

How long does it take to process my order?

Shipments are typically sent out on Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders made after 12PM on Tuesdays or Fridays may be pushed to the next shipment day.

How will my order be packaged?

We keep our packaging minimal and try to reuse packaging materials from external purchases when possible to make your order as environmentally friendly as we can! (-: Reused objects are mainly used for orders that require boxes and cushioning. 

Flat objects will be typically be shipped in rigid mailers or envelopes.

Where are proceeds being donated?

Presently, a percentage of sales from my digital zines are supporting the lovely folks at Paperhouse Studio! You can also donate directly via e-transfer to info@paperhousestudio.com

Paperhouse Studio is an experimental arts studio rooted in paper as the medium. They offer educational programs, artist projects, and community-based youth initiatives. Their ZIPE program (which I was a part of!) encourages 2SLGBTQIAP+, Deaf, Mad, disabled, and BIPOC youth to bring issues they care about to the forefront — exploring identity, community, and advocacy against systemic barriers and oppression. 

How much is donated?

50% of each digital zine purchase is donated. Donations are sent monthly or after reaching a total of at least $50.

Donated amounts are based on the price of each item after platform fees and taxes.
